News: Megawave Summer Tour

Only two months and some change after releasing ≈ , Megawave will embark on a short summer tour. The noisy shoegaze-infused rock act announced the date with this flyer and the message, “RIDE THE WAVE.”
In addition to hitting the road during May, there is evidence that Megawave is already recording new music. This is based on videos and snapchat stories posted by band members, as well as this humorous video of vocalist and guitarist DJ Wymer “making contact” with extraterrestrials.
The two Chicago dates and the Akron date will also feature another Athens’ born act, Sweet Lil, (who, in case you missed it, have dropped the apostrophe). The duo has already been working on new material since the recent release of Words of Dying.
