News: Beyoncé to Release Platinum Box Set

It’s official: according to Billboard, Beyoncé will be releasing the Beyoncé platinum box set on November 24th. Rumors circled on Monday that Beyoncé would be dropping another surprise album, Beyoncé: Volume 2, but this rumor has been squashed. Beyoncé: Volume 2 was never confirmed nor denied, so there is still hope.
The box set will include six new songs in addition to Beyoncé’s self-titled album. Out of the six songs, two are new tracks and four are remixes, including Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj’s “Flawless (Remix).”
The box set will also include plenty of other goodies like HBO’s Beyoncé X10 series, a disc with all 17 Beyoncé music videos, artist commentary and a 2015 Beyoncé mini calendar.
The price is not yet known, but it's safe to expect it to be steep. But the holidays are right around the corner, so this is an excellent marketing strategy on Mrs. Knowles-Carter’s part.
