In-Studio: Trace Mountains, Flashlight O, Sitcom

A little while back we here at ACRN had the pleasure of welcoming the incredibly talented folks that make up Trace Mountains, Flashlight O and Sitcom into our studio for a live session. With each project being one of the member's solo project--Trace Mountains is Dave Benton, Flashlight O is Colin Alexander and Sitcom is Jake Lazovick. The Northeastern visitors graced us with two tracks per project, and we turned one of those from each project into a video. Trace Moutains - "Death Cult Paradise"

These artists' solo work is merely another outlet for their seemingly endless artistic output. Both singers of the now kind-of-defunct Spook Houses, Benton and Alexander have been doing a lot since their old band's dissolution. Benton has gone on to play in LVL UP (who just released the killer new Hoodwink'd), put out Trace Mountains material and run Double Double Whammy, the label responsible for bands such as Crying, Mitski and Frankie Cosmos (who we did an in-studio with last spring). Alexander's also delved further into his career as a visual artist, check out his work over at his website. Lazovick also makes tunes with Foozle, who just re-released their debut album earlier in the spring.
