News: Miley Cyrus To Be Fined In Mexico

America’s favorite and most controversial bad girl Miley Cyrus could possibly be fined after a stunt during her Mexico show. During her Independence Day performance Cyrus had one of her dancers spank her with the Mexican flag on stage as she twerked.
Following her antics, Nuevo Leon state legislator Francisco Trevino has asked that the Mexican government fine the pop star for the disrespect of his country’s flag, reports The Guardian. An approved warrant has been issued pleasing Trevino and if the interior ministry approves the law on how the flag is to be used, Cyrus and her team could face a fine of $1,200 or over a day of detainment.
The drama in Mexico isn’t the only attention the former Disney star’s activities have gained her, Cyrus was banned from the Dominican Republic in August due to her actions being deemed immoral and punishable by Dominican law.
