News: TWIABP Announce New EP, Headlining Tour

Following the release of their much-acclaimed debut full-length Whenever, If Ever via Topshelf Records last year, The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die have now announced the release of an upcoming EP, Between Bodies, set to drop October 7, 2014. The EP features spoken-word artist Chris Zizzamia and was recorded by TWIABP guitarist Christ Teti at his space, Silver Bullet Studios.

Whenever, If Ever turned heads last year with it’s emotive and atmospheric building of sound, the blast radiating from the group's staggering nine member roster. Between Bodies is said to be the bands most experimental work yet, pairing the band's signature sprawling and rough post-rock laden emo with narratives of the human condition from Zizzamia.

Known for their innovative ideas, TWIABP has also teamed up with Audiotree to release a limited-edition live LP, titled Audiotree Live 3.1.2014 with guitarist Derrick Shanholtzer-Dvorak's label, Broken World Media (who put out a cassette run of our in-studio session with Told Slant over the summer). The LP features two new tracks and the record, now available for preorder, is limited to 1,000 copies. The entire session can be viewed on Audiotree’s site.

The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die will launch their first ever North American headlining tour right here in Athens, OH at the Union Bar & Grill on September 11. More info on that show here.
